Dear DCSR Friends and Supporters,

We had hoped that we might gather for our traditional Scottie Rally weekend in May of 2021. In January we made the decision to cancel our 2021 Scottie Rally, as it seemed unlikely that sufficient Covid vaccination would be completed by the 3rd weekend in May. We knew that once again it was important to make the safest choice for all concerned.

The uncertainty of our 2021 May annual gathering has been on the DCSR Board’s radar since last Fall. With the input of an ad hoc advisory group of volunteers we have used the past months to strategize how we could continue to fulfill our mission. One of the clear messages we heard was to not pack our Rally so full of activities and choices and allow more time for just connecting when we do gather. As we look to our future we suggest that you consider the following:

• Make plans to attend one of our DCSR Zoomies! These monthly seminars via Zoom feature an aggressive slate of specialty presentations and faculty to match.

• Plan to participate in our online auctions featuring some spectacular rare collectible and original pieces of art and other Rally items on the Scottie Rally Auction Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/161784844456905

• Watch for information on our DCSR Fall Scottie Scamper in Baileys Harbor on September 25, 2021 via:

– Rally News & Aroos electronic newsletter; to subscribe email dcsrnewsletter@gmail.com
– Our website www.doorcountyscottierally.com
– Our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/scottierally

This will be a day focused on gathering together to reconnect, sharing a meal, cheer the Scots on in our Scottie Races and a wee bit of fundraising!

• Plan to attend the 2022 Door County Scottie Rally May 20-21, 2022.

On behalf of the DCSR Board, please stay healthy and we hope to see you at one of our upcoming DCSR Zoomies, as a bidder at our Scottie Rally Auctions on Facebook, or at the DCSR Fall Scottie Scamper in September!

Best Wishes,
Michele Geiger-Bronsky
